Well, The Royal Wedding is upon us. Soon we’ll know if Will and Kate read my suggestions for their honeymoon! For those of you lucky enough to be visiting London during the big event, we expect you to take advantage of such a unique opportunity and “live like a royal local," or what we'll call here, a Roycal.
I’ve searched the web to bring you the ultimate local highlights to all things Royal Wedding, here are my findings:
Fodor’s Guide to the Royal Wedding:
To live like a Roycal, partaking in afternoon tea is a must. Fodor’s has some fantastic suggestions. They also have some good ideas about where to spot various Royal Family members around London.
Lonely Planet’s “Royal London Audio Tour” (for iPhone):
This app traces the route Will and Kate will follow after their wedding: from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace! Along the way, you learn about key Royal sites—including St. James’ Palace and Clarence House. If these names are unfamiliar to you, this FREE app is a must!
The Telegraph’s Top 10 Royal Wedding iPhone Apps:
If you can’t get enough after the “Royal London Audio Tour”, consider any of the 10 apps featured here. A Roycal can never be too prepared or well educated.
Reuter’s 48 Hours in London for the Royal Wedding:
This is a great guide if you’re pressed for time. They also offer helpful tips on how to plan your day in London around the Procession, etc.
