CAN PARIS GET ANY COOLER?

My love for Paris is no secret around here, but all bias aside, how amazing is this new art installation at the Paris City Hall? The artist, François Abelanet, has created a 3D optical illusion. If you view the piece from different angles, you can see how he accomplished it. If anyone is visiting Paris soon, I bet this is worth checking out in person!

THE WAPPING PROJECT: HIDDEN LONDON

Have you guys heard about THE WAPPING PROJECT in London? Until today, neither had I. This place is shooting right to the top of my London “to-do list.”  The Wapping Projects appears to be part restaurant, part art/concept space. It’s housed in an old hydraulic power station in east London, an easy subway ride from the city center. I’m not sure what intrigues me more—the cuisine, the design or  the location. There’s an in-house butchery, a very trendy bar—there’s even an interactive paddle-boat art installation. The fact that it’s such a local hot spot is icing on a very odd-shaped cake. I can’t wait to check it out. Has anyone been there? Tips? Highlights?
